Along the river Ebro, the traditional communication route. Visitors can hire boats and go up and down the river.

- The Delta de l'Ebre Nature Park, the largest wetland area in Catalonia. In the zone surrounding the freshwater lake l'Encanyissada, you will find a shelter called the Casa de Fusta (wood house), both an information point and ornithological museum.
- The Ports de Tortosa-Besseit, a mountainous region nestled between Catalonia, País Valencià and Aragón, a bastion of breathtaking beauty and charming little villages. This area is crisscrossed with long hiking trails.
- The Cardó Massif situated in Baix Ebre, home to landscapes carpeted with Mediterranean forest and bubbling springs, which gave rise to the ancient spa.
- The Serras de Montsià, Laberia and Tivissa.

The cuisine of the regions of ancient Ilercavònia, as varied as its country-side:
- Visitors to inland villages can eat lamb, game, or snails washed down by good wines and traditiona pastries.
- Down by the sea, try the delta llagostins (Norway lobsters), its rice dishes and el suquet (mixed fish ans seafood casserole).
- Ribera d'Ebre regional cuisine generally includes ingredients such as beef, chicken, milk-cap mushrooms, artichokes and garden produce. For dessert, the region produces excellent dry fruits.
- In Terra Alta you will find typical Catalan cuisine, as well as regional delicacies such as casquetes de cabell d'àngel (candied pumpkin pastries) and ametllans.
