Stone Images

Mosaics are one of the most spectacular expressions of Roman heritage in ancient Africa.Tunisia possesses one of the most impressive collections in the world, both in terms of extension and the quality inherent in the archaeological sites and museums dedicated, in a monographic fashion, to this type of art. Thanks to the collaboration of the Òliba group from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open University of Catalonia), the Stone Images. Mosaics from Ancient Tunisia exhibition can be viewed online, with all-new sections such as virtual reality, games, etc. The project has been financed by the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3).
