The big stones. Megalithism
The Megalithic Monuments, collective funeral monuments made of large blocks of stone, are constructed during the Neolithic Period and the Early Bronze Age. However, it is during the Chalcolithic Period that large passage graves, gallery graves and cists are built in Catalonia. This hall displays Neolithic and Eneolithic works from different megaliths in Catalonia, as well as five models with a cross section of the architectural structures of the large megalithic tombs in Andalusia.
